We have a comprehensive internal privacy policy to ensure anyone processing orders that contain your personal information protects your privacy. Any and all personal information collected when using our website will be kept strictly private and confidential. We collect only information that we need to process your order and we will not share your information externally, except to fulfill post orders, or if required by law.

Privacy of email addresses
Mettle Women Inc. requires users to affirmatively ask to join its mailing lists. All users have open opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the user.
Security of information: We utilise industry standard Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL) to enable a secure transaction environment for online commerce. We use Stripe for all verified payment methods. It is your responsibility to notify your credit card provider if you suspect any unauthorised credit card use.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Account holders who forget their password
Mettle is not able to change your password for you. You can do this by clicking the Sign In link on the homepage, you can then click Forgot password? to send yourself a password reset email. This link expires after 24 hours.
Account holders who want to change their email address
It isn't possible to change the email address associated with your account at this time. You can create a new account using your updated email address.
